jMirrorWorld is a Java-based geospatial visualization tool developed by SRA International. The jMirrorWorld API combines an accurate, virtual representation of the planet earth using NASA's WorldWind Java SDK with a high performance open source gaming engine called jMonkeyEngine. The fusion of these two technologies enables the programmer to place complex, 3D objects on the surface of the earth. jMirrorWorld encapsulates the complexities of combining these platforms and provides the programmer with a clean, easy-to-use API. At the same time, the programmer can take full advantage of WorldWind's extensive API and all the capabilities provided by the jMonkeyEngine game engine.
